There is chargeable parking (please see Visitor Parking and Tariffs below).

The nearest car park is car park 9, and a drop off point at the front of the building. There are also public transport options.

 

Directions by car

  • Please make sure you enter the campus via the Epinal Way entrance
  • The postcode for satellite navigation to Loughborough University is LE11 3TU. (What3Words: sings.shade.giving) 
  • **Please note: occasionally your sat nav might try to take you to the entrance just off the M1 but please disregard and follow the route to Epinal Way as per the map below**
  • Loughborough's nearest motorway link is the M1, Junction 23. The University is clearly signed on all the other main approach roads to Loughborough
  • Directions from the M1, Junction 23, Nottingham and Leicester

Once you have entered the campus:

  • Drive up to the ‘visitors’ barrier which should open automatically
  • Once through the barrier, take the first left onto Towers Way, drive past the tennis courts and football fields and you will see the NCSEM building about 100m in front of you at the end of the road
  • Follow the road around the building and turn right into the car park 9

 Visitors Parking and Tariff

From 13th November 2023 visitors to campus will be required to pay for their parking.  Visitors can register via the following methods:

  • Online

  • Cashless Pay Machines will be available end of November 2023

 Visitor’s Tariff

  • Up to 2 hours - £1
  • Up to 4 hours - £2
  • Full day - £4
  • Evening 6pm to 8am - £1
  • Saturday Up to 24 hours - £1
  • Sunday Up to 24 hours - £1

Blue badge parking

There is blue badge parking available in the car park behind the NCSEM building.

Drop off point

There is a pick up and drop off point outside the entrance to the NCSEM building with a maximum stay of 10 minutes.

Public transport

  • From Loughborough town centre
  • Bus services to and from parts of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding region operate from the centre of Loughborough – you can travel by regional bus services to Loughborough then connect with local Kinchbus services to Loughborough University campus.
  • From Loughborough railway station
  • The Kinchbus Sprint (Number 7) leaves from outside Loughborough railway station and brings you straight to campus, during term time they run every 10 minutes. During the holiday period they run every 15 minutes.
  • You will need to a-light the bus at the Students’ Union bus stop and then walk along Towers Way for about 100m to the NCSEM building.
  • The buses run at different times during term time and university holidays – you can view the timetable at www.kinchbus.co.uk/services/sprint/timetable
